REDBOOT - Case 1 - CORRECTIVE FOAL BOOT

MISS RED was one of my first cases in Lexington, Ky in the year 2000. She was born with bilateral hind limb retraction and used one boot alternately in each limb for periods of 4-6 hours. She was fine in 3 days.

REDBOOT - Case 2 - CORRECTIVE FOAL BOOT

This foal was born in QATAR also with bilateral limb retraction and used a pair of Corrective Redboots for periods of 4-6 hours and was fine in 2-3 days.

REDBOOT - Case 3 - CORRECTIVE FOAL BOOT

Unbeatable Delight was born in the Netherlands with bilateral front limbs severe flexors contractions and could not stand up on her own until she got her REDBOOTs.

REDBOOT - Case 4 - CORRECTIVE FOAL BOOT

Bronco was born in the Argentinian Patagonia and could not walk unassisted. He got his Redboots when he was over 2 months old and his  fetlocks were quite deformed already, but he made it!

REDBOOT - Case 5 - CORRECTIVE FOAL BOOT

Kendall was born in Petaluma, CA and after 15 days of not succeeding with casts and toe extensions notice how happy she is when she is able to be a filly for the first time .

REDBOOT - Case 6 - CORRECTIVE FOAL BOOT

This filly in Saskatchewan, Canada, was hurting herself until she got her Redboots. Notice how the boots can't be fully closed in the first application due to the severe contraction, but then its starts relaxing.

REDBOOT - Case 7 - ARTICULATED FULL LIMB BRACE

Lilis Blessing , was born in Palmer, Alaska with severe Contracted flexor tendons and could not stand up. Everybody in town gathered and took turns to take care of her during days helping with the bandaging and the use of PVC pipes and organize a charity collect to get a pair of Articulated Corrective REDBOOT braces. When she got them she was able to stand up and started improving. Word got around and the channel KBC from national TV made a nice long story and Lili's Blessing was the Star.

REDBOOT - Case 8 - ARTICULATED FULL LIMB BRACE

ONE WISH was born in the Netherlands and he was going to be euthanized but the owner and her Vet Annemarie Kroekenstoel did not give up and he was almost one month old when he got the articulated REDBOOT braces. He was under care for several months with up and downs but he grew up to be a normal happy horse.

REDBOOT - Case 9 - ARTICULATED FULL LIMB BRACE

Faith was born in the Alberta region in Canada with bilateral carpus and full limb retraction of the flexor tendons. He couldn't nurse unless she was assisted. Her chances were few but her owner Janine didn't loose Faith and contacted me and I sent her a pair of REDBOOT articulated braces. Faith recovered well with all the proper care given and now she just had her second foal!

REDBOOT - Case 10 - ARTICULATED FULL LIMB BRACE

This is a 3 months old polo filly in the Argentinian Pampas that suffered a Possible Kick in the field and suffered a fracture in the elbow and got also a severe infection. She was very lame. I took x-rays and did an ultrasound evaluation and confirm what I suspected. After sedation I drained all the pus content accumulated and did a lavage. After several weeks she recovered completely and now she is on of the top mares playing an the top polo level in the area of Pilar, Buenos Aires, world capital of the polo!

REDBOOT - Case 11 - ARTICULATED FULL LIMB BRACE

REDBOOT - Case 12 - ARTICULATED FULL LIMB BRACE

This is a long video of a case of a filly several years ago and shows a bilateral retraction on a new born foal in one of the Top stud farms in Argentina. This foal was born immature and very weak and could not stand up on its own. Here you can see in detail how is the full process of bandaging and applying a pair of ARTICULATED FULL LIMB CORRECTIVE REDBOOT BRACES. Please turn on the subtitles with English translation.

REDBOOT - Case 13 - EMERGENCY COMPRESSION BOOT

Lexica is a polo mare that suffered a condylar fracture on her right hind limb in Pilar in Argentina. Surgery was not an option and she was probably going to be euthanized. I tried with a regular size EMERGENCY COMPRESSION REDBOOT that she used permanently for almost 60 days. I opened the boot a few times with care to check that everything was fine and to readjust bandaging. Proper bandaging is very important. This is not possible to do with a permanent cast. Lexica went back to play polo 8 months later!

REDBOOT - Case 14 - EMERGENCY COMPRESSION BOOT

This is a polo mare with a second phalanx fracture in Argentina. A temporary cast was applied meant for transportation to a clinic but it didn't work because it did not include the foot.  It's also quite difficult to put a cast on a painful horse with a recent fracture. The use of the regular size  Compression boot makes it much easier.

REDBOOT - Case 15 - EMERGENCY COMPRESSION BOOT

This is a mare in the USA that had severe injury and cut the extensor flexor tendons in her right hind limb. Proper immobilization with an Emergency Compression boot, Large size, was the best option as a cast is not possible to use as daily wound care is necessary. The Emergency Compression Redboot is great for this cases and can be easily apply and removed as needed. Proper bandaging is very important!

REDBOOT - Case 16 - EMERGENCY COMPRESSION BOOT

Mesonera is a 600 kg RAZA ESPAÑOLA 600 mare that cut her flexor tendons and was going to be euthanized. She used 2 compression REDBOOTs over a period of a year. See the testimonial of Raquel, her owner, that together with the local vets and the proper dedication made it possible for Mesonera to keep enjoying the Spanish sun!

REDBOOT - Case 17 - EQUINE LIMB PROSTHETICS
